HDYO News

We are absolutely delighted to announce that in January 2017 we will be hosting a HD Youth Camp for young people in Australia and New Zealand! This event will be completely free for young people to attend. Applications are now open…

We are so excited to bring a HD Youth Camp to Australia and New Zealand, after success with camps in Europe and North America. The camp will be held in Queensland, Australia from January 13-16. At camp young people will take part in educational and support sessions focused on improving their ability to understand and cope with HD in their lives, they will meet lots of other young people impacted by HD and of course we will have lots of fun doing some cool activities. Travel (including flights), food, accommodation and camp activities are all covered, making it completely free for young people to attend. We have 25 places available, although this may increase if lots of young people apply. To apply you must be a young person, aged 15-25, impacted by HD in some way and living in either Australia or New Zealand. We are a little flexible with the age range so please do reach out to us if that may be an issue for you or your family member. For more details on the camp and how to apply please visit this link.
