Why do hd people wobble?
Q. Why do hd people wobble
Anonymous, Child
A. People with HD wobble for lots of reasons. The chorea (jerky movements) can make them wobble. Sometimes people become unsteady and look like they are drunk even when they haven’t had anything to drink. Sometimes if they get distracted or stressed they can wobble.
The important thing is to find out why a HD person wobbles and see if there is anything that can be done to help them. Medicines that reduce stress or chorea can be good. So can a physiotherapist and exercises. There are its of things that be tried to stop HD people from wobbling,
